Living Room
Spacious living room with two large couches and comfortable sitting chairs. This room creates seating for 8 people. The television is equipped with cable, sports channels and Netflix. There is WiFi throughout the home.
Open the dutch door for a breeze of the ocean harbor or turn on the Air Conditioner when it’s really hot, especially during summer months.
Dining Room
Gather, connect, and create lasting memories in our beautifully designed dining room. Featuring a stylish six-person table, this space is perfect for everything from intimate dinners to lively conversations. With comfortable seating and warm, welcoming decor, it’s the ideal setting for shared meals and special occasions alike.
Patio
In the front of the house, enjoy the outdoor dining table for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s always a nice way to meet locals in the area. Outdoor dining is common on Balboa Island.
Quiet Times
Evenings are cozy in our cottage. Enjoy a nice fire, good movie or quiet cup of tea. This home is perfect if you want a good night sleep. Our neighborhood is not a party type atmosphere. If you are looking for a lively scene, you may want to consider Balboa Peninsula.
Please be aware that our Island has a night curfew of 10:00 pm. Please be respectful to our Island community and consider bringing your party indoors.
Kitchen
Cook up a nice meal in our fully equipped kitchen. All pots and pans are stainless steel for the serious cooks. We also provide some nonstick items. Kitchen has an electric stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and small refrigerator. We provide a 12 cup coffee maker, as well as a french press with grinder. We do not have an ice maker in this unit.
All guests are provided with complementary organic, ground French Roast coffee, organic tea packets and sugar (Sugar in the raw packets). Bottled waters are also provided for your convenience. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has a Queen size bed. Master Bedroom 2 has a King size bed. Both beds have 5 star (Aireloom) mattresses. Our linens and bedding are luxurious, 5 star hotel quality. Guests receive Duvets with a mid-weight comforter, filled with CentroClean hypoallergenic and 100% White Goose Down. Our sheets are 300 Thread Count, 100% cotton sateen finish. They only get softer with time.
Pillows on both beds are filled with CentroClean hypoallergenic blend of 50% White Goose Down & 50% White Goose Feather Fill. We also have extra pillows in both downstairs bedroom closets. These pillows are for our guests with allergies.
Master Bathroom
Luxury awaits when you walk into this master bath. With beautiful marble floors and natural window light, you can easily relax at the end of your day with this large standing shower.
We also provide a small set of top quality shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion. These amenities have a crisp, lightly citrus-scent and are made with quality ingredients. The products contain absolutely no parabens, petroleum, paraffin or mineral oil. We also include a super gentle soap made with goats milk, shea butter and verbena.
Top Loft Unit
Please note that this is a separate unit in the back of house with its own stairway, door and key. You’ll find the unit above the garage of our cottage. It has just as much charm as the front and is perfect for another couple or for the teenagers to hang out. It is not recommended for small children without an adult.
This loft has 2 Bunk beds for 4 people to sleep comfortably. Beds have memory foam mattresses, The Duvets are filled with hypoallergenic, white Hutterite down and then covered with a soft linen Duvet cover. We use luxury cotton flat sheets and comfortable Hypoallergenic pillows.
The top loft unit includes a 60 inch TV with cable, Netflix and sports channels. Xbox Included and WiFi throughout.
Our loft has a small kitchenette and a small bathroom. The kitchenette includes a small induction oven (2 burner) cooktop, microwave, toaster, 18” Dishwasher, small 24” refrigerator and 5 cup coffee maker. The bathroom has a large standing shower and open shelves for your bathroom items. We also provide amenities such as, shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion. In case, you forgot them at home.
